The process of Herbal self-medication is about empowering you, the pet parent, to have the confidence to continue offering your pet the products they select during the session, and value from your session is only achieved if you actually do this homework!
The quality of the botanicals that you choose is very important, so I would recommend only purchasing from suppliers who ensure the highest product quality including:
Good value powders and dried herbs with many organic powders, although I haven’t tested the quality of their oils yet. Visiting their shop by clicking on the link on my website will activate a 15% discount off your first order, and a 5% discount on any subsequent orders. Going direct to their website will not active your discount.

My Animal Matters
This shop was set up by a friend who is also a herbal self-medication practitioner, and so she is very aware of the quality of oils needed. Her essential oils and waters are fabulous and she does some great starter kits with mini versions of a wide range of products.
The first animal herb company in the UK to be certified organic through the Soil Association. They are great for herbs and powders in higher quantities and their P&P to UK mainland is £4.99 for any order up to 50kg.
Your local supermarket
For basic oils like organic sunflower oil , flax oil, or rice bran oil, your cheapest option is to get them from any larger supermarket. They will also stock cold pressed organic coconut oil, however the cheapest place for this is Aldi!
