Saturday 27 October
10:30 to 13:00
Abbey Dog Training Centre, Wanborough, Swindon
- Are you pet parent to a rescued or re-homed dog?
- Can they be shy, nervous, fearful, destructive, or just a little unsettled at times?
- Are you looking for a gentle, natural way to support your dog emotionally, alongside the training they might need?
In this two and a half hour workshop we will explore the principles of Herbal Choices for animals, and learn the basic protocols of self-selection for dogs. We’ll discuss some the botanicals most commonly selected by re-homed dogs, why that’s the case, and how they can be of benefit.
Delegate places – £30 per person
We will work with up to four dogs during the session, giving the selected dogs the opportunity to explore a range of powders for themselves so owners can get hands-on with the process of Herbal Choices.
Handler places – If you would like your dog to take part, please note that they must be comfortable being in the car for the first half of the session, and show no aggression. It’s not appropriate for them to attend if they will be overwhelmed by a busy workshop with lots of people. It’s just an additional £10 to upgrade to a handler place.
Please note: Other than the selected workshop dogs, this is a human only event, and all other dogs should please stay at home.
The workshop is scheduled to conclude at 1pm, however when working with animals there is always a chance we’ll overrun a little!
Book your place:
After clicking Submit you will be emailed an invoice for the places requested. Online payment of this invoice will secure your place(s) which will be confirmed by email.
We will also be holding a raffle in aid of the charity that both Two Happy Tails and Abbey Dog Training staff volunteer with – Dog AID – and we would really appreciate your support with this.
